Textured pebbles of sterling silver hang from stacks of petite steely blue moss aquamarine and long, curvy sterling silver earwires.

Earrings are approximately 2 1/2" in total length from the top of the earwires to the ends sterling pebbles, which measure approximately 2/5" long.

Sea Urchin Study No. 10 - Fine silver, sterling silver and moss aquamarine necklace

Number 10

I formed a skinny rectangle of precious metal clay (PMC) and lightly textured it with a sea urchin. When kiln-fired, PMC becomes 99.9% silver. After firing, it's hand-finished for strength and shine. It dangles from a sterling silver ball chain with a tiny moss aquamarine dangle.

New Style Puka Necklace

After a long absence, I've brought back the New Style Puka necklace in a new, refined style.

When I saw these moonstone beads on a strand, they reminded me of puka shells, but faceted with a beautiful blue flash. I wanted to make a more delicate version of the classic necklace, so I wire-wrapped each bead and attached them to textured oval sterling chain. Tiny rock crystal quartz rondelles connect the lobster clasp. Sort of surfer girl, but a little more sophisticated.
